Child labour is a global challenge. To remind all stakeholders in the international community of the difficulties of child workers and the protection they are entitled to, the International Labour Organization (ILO) introduced the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002, which is observed every year on 12 June. The theme of this year is, “Show Child Labour the Red Card: Ensure Children's Rights and Promote Decent Work for Adults.”
In line with this theme and the goal of eliminating child labour in the waste management sector, TIB presents the following recommendations for relevant stakeholders.
