The Government's First 100 Days after the 13th National Parliamentary Election: Tracking Good Governance and Anti-Corruption Commitments

Published: 07 June 2026

As part of its efforts to strengthen accountable democratic governance, promote good governance, and support effective anti-corruption measures, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) regularly conducts research, advocacy, and civic engagement programmes. At various points in the past, TIB has monitored the progress of state and government commitments related to good governance and anti-corruption as part of the country's democratic journey.

In continuation of this work, the present study aims to review the first 100 days of the newly formed government following the '13th National Parliamentary Election' identifying progress, limitations, and challenges in implementation, with particular focus on monitoring commitments and progress related to institutional anti-corruption measures, democracy, and good governance.
