Recently, the Election Commission has prepared the draft Union Parishad Election Code of Conduct Rules, 2026; Upazila Parishad Election Code of Conduct Rules, 2026; Municipality Election Code of Conduct Rules, 2026; District Council Election Code of Conduct Rules, 2026 and City Corporation Election Code of Conduct Rules, 2026 and published them on the Commission's website (www.ecs.gov.bd) to seek comments from relevant stakeholders. Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has welcomed this initiative of the Election Commission and already submitted its review and recommendations on the aforementioned draft codes of conduct rules for the Commission's consideration.
