The book, "Unlocking Climate Finance: Governance Challenges in Accessing the Green Climate Fund in Vulnerable Countries," was published based on the TIB's research report, "Access to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for Vulnerable Countries like Bangladesh: Governance Challenges and Way Forward." TIB conducted this research to analyze the process and identify the challenges that developing countries, particularly Bangladesh, face in accessing GCF funds, with a special emphasis on the governance processes involved on both the supply and demand sides. The book highlights and explores GCF’s governance structures, policy frameworks and practices, stakeholder engagement, and fund recipients’ experiences.
