Who is liable- state or human desire?

Bangladesh, the name of a rising country around the world, has been listed as an emerging source index under N-11; means the country has the potentials to lead the world followed by BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). Garments industry is the heart of the economy of the country followed by remittance of migrant workers if though the real cost of imported raw materials is adjusted, remittances of migrant workers stand first. Since the inception of the country, more than ten million of Bangladeshi nationals have been headed for an overseas job through regular channel. It is estimated that if the irregular channels are taken into consideration, the actual number of migrant workers will be almost doubled. There is no denying fact in hand that the remittances of migrant workers are golden of deer to the economy of the country.

The harsh truth is that thousands of Bangladeshi nationals have been headed for an overseas job through the sea route, especially in the last couple of years. Malaysia and Italy come to eye whenever we talk about irregular migration throughout the sea. If I talk about Italy very specifically, the beloved country ranked 2nd as the source of irregular migration in the year of 2016. Even only in the year of 2017, more than 8,700 nationals headed to Italy through the seas of Syria to Malta to Italy. Followed by Syrian crises, thousands of Bangladeshi nationals ran over to Italy get frightened fierce and massacre, and they are now in at detention camp in there. The prostrating matter is that we can predict from our research work that thousands of migrants have jumped to Syria directly from Bangladesh during the crises to go Italy for a luxurious life through their network, ideally through international contract. Hundreds of them died throughout the journey while the rests are in the detention camp in there. Who is liable- the corrupted administration of Bangladesh or the greedy family members of the migrants?

While Sylhet is considered as the London of Bangladesh; Kishoregonj, Shariatpur as well as Madaripur are susceptibly going to consider as the Italy of Bangladesh. Why so many people have been migrated to Italy directly from Bangladesh taking the risks of life throughout the sea?  We cannot but make liable undoubtedly the greediness of migrants as well as their family members. Following the success ratio of Bangladeshi Libyan migrants to Italy, thousands of nationals headed from Bangladesh to Syria and then Italy. The main cause was the less costly migration! “It was really been lucrative to go a European country like Italy spending only 4 to 5 lacs!” Accordingly, while some of the concerned area's households observed that couples of migrants have reached to Italy in safe through this irregular channel, they took the risk for their siblings followed by. Thus hundreds of them have migrated Italy through the process selling their livelihood, like crops land as well as households; mortgaged gold of female members; taking loan from richer, Bank, NGOs and others with double back within a year; sold household furniture and other goods, and domestic animals etcetera.

Upon arrival of their siblings, almost all of them are in detention camp while in rare cases; migrant received the legal working paper (mobility out of camp paper) in there. As a result, they cannot do job and send money back to the left behind to repay the interests that are increasing geometrically. The prostrating matter is that a couple of migrants died throughout their perilous journey and the left behind family became marginal losing shelter to the meal! Furthermore, majority of the left behind families have had no squire meal in the last couple of months! Some of them paralyzed physically and psychologically, and are living in with no hope. On the contrary, being unable to bear educational expenses, a couple of migrants has stopped educating their younger siblings!

On the contrary, concerned government officials have had full and productive knowledge on the risks and vulnerabilities of the whole migration process. The question arises, how those contracted youths got passed through our airport irrespective of not having proper documents? How can I leave unscrupulous government officials who were engaged throughout the whole processes from the very beginning to the very end, maintain a liaison with international networks and sell youths dream through irregular channels? How much money do they need? Can they hear the screaming of left behind families? How will they console the parents who lost their siblings? Can’t I term unscrupulous government officials as trafficker who sold dreams to youth for money and personal gain? How long the state; how long will I be your slave rather a citizen! Can I get a proper conclusion with an appropriate solution without damn saying, “We, the people, love our homeland, love the pure soil where thousands of martyrs sleep with pain but hate you scrupulous bare-faced people the most”. Will I get the answer, please?
